Reinventing a production line through automatization
Having manufactured steel products for over a century, this client was looking to optimize his operations and gear up for the future. With an idea set in mind, he called on us to materialize his vision. The goals were clear: create a machine that would increase productivity substantially, reduce labor needs, and decrease safety hazards. To reach these goals, we created an automated machine that coordinates perfectly the steel pieces’ movements and welding parameters for a first-grade finished product.
Materializing a never seen before idea
Creating from A to Z a production line comes with many constraints and challenges. Hydrexcel had to ramp up to materialize a machine that, to this day, only existed on paper. Fortunately, with the experience our team gained over the years, developing an agile solution to a complex problem was possible. It was also essential for this very solution to be user-friendly for our client’s employees to facilitate the integration of new technologies in their work environment.
