Optimized and secured operations through reliable bucket clamps
Liquid material transportation is an art in itself. It has to be accomplished with precision and appropriate equipment. Alliance Magnesium turned to Hydrexcel for the manufacture of reliable bucket clamps able to support an annual production of 50 000 magnesium ingots. These handling and lifting bucket clamps had to be customized and reliable for prolonged utilization without concerns. They also had to be effective to reduce production time. Hydrexcel met the challenge and delivered a repeatedly tested for reliability product within the time prescribed.
Constraints that set the tone
When the issue of liquid metal lifting is raised, constraints and challenges are sure to await. There were, indeed, a lot of variables to consider in the manufacturing process, such as :
- operation temperature ;
- corrosion ;
- clamping force ;
- bucket opening speed.
These constraints can come in the way of the manufacturing process, but thanks to our team of administrators’ vast expertise and to the many tests accomplished, we achieved to deliver industrial equipment that can be used confidently.
